What are we looking for

ProTechT is designed for mature startups developing breakthrough solutions in the defense, homeland security, and dual-use sectors.

We’re looking for ventures with a working POC or MVP, a capable and committed team, and readiness to engage with real-world challenges in collaboration with Israel’s security ecosystem.

We are particularly interested in startups operating in areas such as robotics, drones, situational awareness, cyber and homeland security, smart infrastructure, underground warfare, and advanced dual-use technologies — with potential for integration into Israel’s defense and public safety systems.

Participants should be open to attending meetings and building collaborations in the Western Negev — and to exploring long-term activity in the region.

No. Startups are not required to be based in the south — but should be open to attending sessions on-site and exploring collaboration or relocation opportunities in the Western Negev.

The program is hybrid, with key sessions, events, and meetings taking place at the SouthUp innovation hub in Nir-Am, Israel.

Startups should commit to bi-weekly board meetings, in-person workshops, and actively engaging with mentors, partners, and pilot opportunities throughout the program.

Each startup is matched with senior mentors from the defense, tech, and business sectors — offering personalized guidance, strategic feedback, and access to relevant networks.

None. The program is fully funded — no fees, no equity required. Just dedicated support and strategic value.

On average, 4–6 hours per week including mentorship, workshops, and preparation for investor/pilot opportunities. Flexibility is built-in for founders actively running operations.
