What are we looking for

ProTechT is designed for mature startups developing breakthrough solutions in the defense, homeland security, and dual-use sectors.
We are particularly interested in startups operating in areas such as robotics, drones, situational awareness, cyber and homeland security, smart infrastructure, underground warfare, and advanced dual-use technologies — with potential for integration into Israel’s defense and public safety systems.
Participants should be open to attending meetings and building collaborations in the Western Negev — and to exploring long-term activity in the region.

No. Startups are not required to be based in the south — but should be open to attending sessions on-site and exploring collaboration or relocation opportunities in the Western Negev.
The program is hybrid, with key sessions, events, and meetings taking place at the SouthUp innovation hub in Nir-Am, Israel.
Startups should commit to bi-weekly board meetings, in-person workshops, and actively engaging with mentors, partners, and pilot opportunities throughout the program.
Each startup is matched with senior mentors from the defense, tech, and business sectors — offering personalized guidance, strategic feedback, and access to relevant networks.
None. The program is fully funded — no fees, no equity required. Just dedicated support and strategic value.
On average, 4–6 hours per week including mentorship, workshops, and preparation for investor/pilot opportunities. Flexibility is built-in for founders actively running operations.
